Purple Bench Initiative members and local partners are actively participating in the 50 Million Steps epilepsy awareness campaign and recording their steps from 4th January to 8th February 2021. As the climax of our activity, IBE Golden Light Award winner Nina Mago has put together a run on 8th February 2021 (time: 5:30 EAT). Lead participants in the run are 100 of Uganda’s Chapter of Hush House Harriers’ International runners, each offering 10,000 steps (7km). Purple Bench Initiative targets 1,000,000 steps by close of campaign.
